What is CBD?

CBD, short for cannabidiol (CAN-UH-BIH-DEE-ALL), is one of 113 different cannabinoids (CAN-UH-BIH-NOIDS) found in the cannabis plant. When ingested, cannabinoids like THC, CBD, CBG, and CBN (just to name a few) have been proven to affect our bodies in positive ways. CBD continues to be one of the most beneficial cannabinoids we have discovered thus far, and is currently used by people much smarter than us to treat the following ailments:

Inflammation, Anxiety, Depression, Nausea, Arthritis, Diabetes, Anti-tumoral, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s, Anti- convulsant and Anti-seizure, Multiple Sclerosis, Crohn’s Disease, and more

Think of CBD like THC’s sober cousin. It has similar medical benefits, but lacks the psychoactive compound that would cause you to experience dry mouth or watch Planet Earth on the couch all day. In fact, CBD has been shown to neutralize some of the negative side effects of THC. Often, smoking a CBD pre-roll can be an effective way to come down if you find yourself “too high”.
